Earlier this month the Pantone Color Institute®, the global color authority and provider of professional color standards for the design industries, made news when they announced that the PANTONE Color of the Year is actually a pairing of two colors: Serenity and Rose Quartz.
“With the whole greater than its individual parts, joined together Serenity and Rose Quartz demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute®.
The Pantone Color Institute has long known the importance of color. From the clothes and makeup we wear, to the cars we drive, to the marketing materials we are drawn to, color has an impact on our lives daily.
