Appreciate Your Customers in the Summer Too

This week we celebrated Memorial Day. Not only did we honor and remember the men and women of the American Armed Forces who died serving our country, we ushered in the unofficial start of summer. As the kids finish up the school year and you make your summer plans, remember that summer is a great time to show your customers some appreciation. You can keep the focus on your business with a fun marketing campaign. In fact, you can even designate a day or a week Customer Appreciation Day or Week. It’s easy. Just combine your marketing efforts with your invoice package to:

• Promote sales and clearance events

• Increase your customer touchpoints

• Announce a customer appreciation day or week

• Build customer loyalty before the school year starts

• Send inserts, calendars, postcards and more!

Remember, even in today’s competitive marketplace, transactional documents are opened and read 97 percent of the time, with the longest “read” time when compared to direct mail or television commercials. Take a look at the different pieces of your invoice package and see if any of them need refreshing. Also make sure that the whole package is cohesive and the dynamic messaging on the bill or statement compliments what is on the outer envelope and what is on the website. Take advantage of this virtually guaranteed to be read document.
