Summer officially begins next week. By now the kids are finished with or finishing up school and have come home with their summer reading lists. Have you compiled yours as well? Just because you’re not in school anymore doesn’t mean you can’t also learn a thing or two during the summer months. Summer is a great time to catch up on reading some of those books you’ve been meaning to get to. Maybe you want to read a new best seller or maybe you want to read some classic literature or maybe you want to take advantage of your time in the sun to read some books that could help you at work.
When we asked some of our staff here at OSG what books are on their summer reading list we got a mixed bag of titles. Here is what some of us are reading. What’s on your summer reading list?
The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
Business Strategy: Managing Uncertainty, Opportunity, and Enterprise by J.C. Spender
The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling
I Am Pilgrim by Terry Hayes
Moby Dick by Herman Melville
The New Rules of Marketing & PR by David Meerman Scott
The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey
